The Director of Strategy role at Anvil:
As Director of Strategy, you will develop, refine and lead the overall strategy for the agency’s core services (search, social and analytics), help our clients move their business forward by identifying strategic opportunities for account growth, and support the sales team with new business opportunities. You will also collaborate with the Director of Account Services, and guide team members to recognize opportunities to push the strategic envelope on accounts so clients receive world-class work. Additionally, you’ll train the team on newly developed services so they can advise on and provide excellent service to clients in-house. You will also write and speak on pertinent industry topics and regularly attend events when appropriate.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- 8 plus years of related experience and/or training in digital marketing and management
- 5 plus years demonstrated ability to effectively sell and develop services
- Superior analysis, writing, communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to seamlessly organize and manage multiple clients and projects
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to travel for business as needed
