Digital Analyst

Anvil Media, Inc. is a boutique integrated marketing agency in Portland, Oregon and we are seeking an addition to our team of digital marketing ninjas. Think you want to join us? Read on and get in touch if you fit the bill.

About You:

You want to be “in” in the digital marketing world – and you know at least enough about SEO, PPC and Social Media to be dangerous, but also have some learning to do to apply and grow that knowledge for use across different types of businesses. You love data and you find yourself curious about things like search traffic trends, Google analytics data and website usability. You want to help businesses understand their website data and you want to help them evolve their digital marketing strategies. You aren’t afraid to push the envelope with new ideas or ways of doing things because the status quo is boring. Maybe you’re even Google AdWords and Analytics certified. Working at an agency is ideal for you because you like fast paced and demanding work, but also a fun and rewarding environment. You are a full-on internet nerd – and proud of it.

The Digital Analyst role at Anvil Media:

At Anvil, Digital Analysts (DA’s) are where the rubber hits the road in terms of helping our clients implement and execute mind blowing digital marketing strategies. Our DA’s work with Account Directors to ensure their client’s business needs are being not only met but exceeded and that their SEO, PPC and/or Social campaigns are performing exceptionally. The DA’s are constantly seeking ways to evolve their own knowledge and experience and are curious and passionate about digital marketing and search.

Mandatory requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree and minimum 2 years experience in field of digital marketing
  • Experience across multiple industries a plus. Agency experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience required in the following platforms:
    • Google AdWords
    • Google Analytics
  • Demonstrated experience in the following areas:
    • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
    • PPC Campaign development and management
    • Social Media Marketing
    • Keyword research
    • Data analysis
    • Presenting to groups of 5 or more
  • Demonstrated ability to seamlessly juggle many projects, always meeting deadlines, and exceeding client and team expectations. And yes, we’ll want to hear some examples.
  • Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Graphic Design or other technical skills a plus.

The position involves a three-month introduction period, just so we can get to know each other. The Digital Analyst will report directly to the Vice President.
