Snapchat ‘Discover’ puts focus on media publishers for content

Snapchat has partnered with some of the top media publishers around to build out a storytelling feature that puts the narrative first. It allows users to experience Stories from different editorial teams.

Snapchat states that this is not to be considered social media. Where other social platforms typically force users to consume content that is most popular or new, Discover relies on the editors and artists of the publishing companies to determine what content is important.
