Why did you choose a career in digital marketing?
DS: As a professional internet freelancer, I’ve worked with hundreds of different organizations and wore many different hats, such as: Digital marketing, Programming, Data Analysis, and Sales. After college, I created a network of online gaming forums that reached 8M MAUs which allowed my startup to acquire Venture Capital and a subsequent merger with a larger organization. During 2016-2019, I became one of the top 5 Augmented Reality developers on Upwork. I’ve also dabbled in machine learning, mostly coupled with computer vision, but a future goal is to feed SEO data to ML models and see if we can spot patterns that nobody else has.
What originally attracted you to Anvil?
DS: I originally applied in 2016, but was not selected to interview. Around 2019, Daniel was recruited by Mike Terry.
