This free social media marketing white paper outlines the fundamentals of social media marketing, including the definition and size of social media, platform facts, and benefits. In addition, the social media white paper outlines strategies for tying social media into business and marketing strategies, such as search engine optimization (SEO), and how to use Anvil’s MCE2 process to help marketers get started. This should serve as a resource on how to effectively begin marketing businesses through social media. Recommendations include ways to utilize social media platforms for brand awareness, lead generation, sales, customer engagement, and consumer insight.
The social media white paper comes on the heels of recent success Anvil clients have had with social media. In May, Anvil’s work with Provenance Hotels earned a SoMe Award and non-profit FORGE a $3,000 grant to further their work. Then in July, Oregon State University’s new social media website, Powered By Orange, was referenced by Mashable as a unique way to reach alumni. Grand America Hotels has also been nominated for a recent award.
