Yahoo Search Tests Ad Relevance Algorithm

Forbes.com reports that Yahoo has released a test version in Scandinavia, called “Project Panama,” and will soon release it in the UK. The new model is very similar to Google’s as they take into account both bid amount and ad relevance. Expect a US release later this year or in early 2007.
