What’s Needling Net Users?

Many of the frustrations for users boil down to “features” that are standing between them and the information that they want to view. Pop-ups, not surprisingly, tops the list of peeves, followed by requiring log-in/registration, and requiring extra software installation to view content. Web sites will be well served to listen to what their public has to say, as 75% of users surveyed in the eMarketer study said the would be unlikely to revisit the offending site.
