This article suggests that Google’s answer to mini – networks and other multi – site strategies intended to artificially inflate link popularity. By delaying the ranking of brand – new sites, the mini – network strategy becomes more of a long – term strategy than a quick jump to the top. A few suggestions for solutions to this problem are given. As soon as you get a few pages completed for your new site get it indexed by Google. Also, think about running PPC on AdWords (MSN and Yahoo! don’t have the delay) for the first few months until your site is ranking well organically.
