MSN joined the ranks of rival engines Google and Yahoo earlier this week when it announced the release of their beta version of Local Search. MSN’s Local Search results will offer searchers results based on their location, alerting them of businesses that could meet their needs and that are also close by. Currently, MSN has not integrated their Local Search into their normal Web search results- as Google and Yahoo have- though users can click a Local Search link on any results page to find a local match.
