Microsoft launched the beta version of its new search engine, www.live.com. Microsoft is saying Live.com is better, faster and more curious than previous versions of the search engine. Microsoft’s Search Product Manager, Justin Osmer, is confident Live.com will challenge Google as the #1 search engine. He goes on to say this won’t be in a few month’s time, but definitely thinks they’ll be #1 in some market metrics such as, local search and relevancy & measure of the sharpness of search engine results.
