Google Defends Itself to FTC
by Anvil on January 14, 2011Online Reputation ManagementIn one of the more significant examples of a company protecting it’s reputation, Google is presenting the tenants of its integrity in Search to the US Federal Trade Commission today in Washington DC.
The core of Google’s message as presented by Matt Cutts, the head of Google’s Webspam Team, is that Google’s natural results are entirely algorithm driven, cannot be purchased or influenced by cold hard cash in any way and as such do not require government regulation.
