Desktop AdWords Editor Quietly Launched into Beta by Google

The application is currently available for download but is only being tested by a few select AdWords advertisers, according to Google reps. Features of the Editor include the ability to make bulk changes to keywords and ad text, edit capabilities for keywords, bids and more, copy and paste function for keywords and ads – among others. Conveniently, this app also allows the advertiser to work offline and then upload all of the changes at one time. Currently, there’s no word if Google is trying to get into the space of PPC bid management tools such as Atlas one point – which allow management across multiple accounts – but we wouldn’t be surprised if this was where they’re heading.
