AOL will be adding tools and featured content dedicated to podcasting, including a Podcasting 101 site to help beginners grasp the new technologies and concepts. Bill Wilson, Senior VP of Programming at AOL notes that they will be featuring programs for beginners and experts alike while expanding the “podcast experience with more exclusive and original programming.” Furthermore, AOL has upgraded their podcast search functions and has partnered up with TVEyes to roll out “spoken-word indexing” this fall.
