A New Addition to Quality Score
by Kent Lewis on December 16, 2005UncategorizedGoogle has now incorporated the landing page as part of the AdWords Quality Score, which evaluates minimum bids based on factors such as CTR, ad text and historical keyword performance. The landing page component will look at content and layout of pages linked from ads, and will focus on and assess overall user experience. Google notes, “For advertisers providing a less positive user experience, quality score may decrease and in turn increase the minimum bid required for the keyword to run.”
