by Rachel McMahon on December 14, 2021Brown Bag PodcastFor the December Brown Bag Podcast episode, Anvil spoke with iconic, marketing extraordinaire, Marty Weintraub – Founder & Marketing Lead of the integrated marketing agency Aimclear®, best-selling author, and photographer. During this episode, Marty talks about his professional background and his marketing “aha” moment. He also gives us the 411 on what he thinks of Facebook and its rebrand to “Meta”. Plus, he shares why you really shouldn’t be freaking out about the cookieless future.
Back in 1996/1997, Marty cracked the code of omnichannel integrated messaging and figured out how to craft messaging in such a way that would direct an audience to a desired destination, like a website. From there, he joined a local, B2B agency that was building its first websites. As he worked underneath a group of smart “Mad Men”, he learned how the different avenues of marketing can intertwine, which to Marty was amazing. From there, Marty worked a variety of jobs that culminated in the creation of Aimclear®.
As a well-known “Facebook Ninja”, Anvil also discussed Marty’s thoughts on Facebook’s rebrand to “Meta” and why success within the marketing world will come down to the “person who can sell something in an elevator”.
