(Oct, 16, 2013) – Anvil, an integrated marketing agency specializing in search engine marketing, social media marketing and analytics, launched a new website and brand identity this month. The new site, anvilmediainc.com, has a simple and sleek design representing its new direction as an integrated marketing agency, yet still serves as a resource on the latest news, trends and advancements in the digital marketing world.
“After 13 years of ‘Anvil Goggles’ representing our vision and perspective, it was time for a refresh,” said Kent Lewis, President and Founder of Anvil Media. “The flame in the new logo represents Anvil’s ability to forge marketing strategies that move our clients’ business forward.”
There has been significant progress with the evolution into an integrated marketing agency. New clients and partners include ConMet, Liquid Assets Empire, Meriwether Group, and Northwest Earth Institute. Anvil also expanded relationships with current and former clients including Cambia Health Solutions and MorphoTrust. Advertising agency veteran, Vice President Mike Terry, has continued to ramp up integrated marketing services, including the development of an ecommerce platform for ConMet and brand work for Safetec.
Anvil celebrated its 13 years in business with a party at the Bing Lounge for employees, clients and partners on October 10. Several local Portland-area businesses participated including Dennison Capen, DJ Tan’t, Hawks View Cellars, New Deal Distillery, Pacific Rim, Portland Meadows, Portland Roasting, Silver Spoon Bistro & Catering, and Ye Ol’ Grog Distillery.
“The party was a way for Anvil to show appreciation to all those who have contributed to its success over the past 13 years,” said Lewis. “It was also a great way to showcase and kick-off our new identity and website.”
Anvil also recently added new team members to round out its marketing team and expertise. Steve Burnett, a 15-year search engine marketing veteran, joined the team as Paid Search Strategist. Burnett will serve as the agency’s subject matter expert on paid search and oversee the management of all paid search services.
Anvil continued its commitment to the community with a $1,000 donation to Candlelighters for Children With Cancer as a result of an online poll to determine its quarterly Charity of Choice. “Because Candlelighters For Children With Cancer has a big mission and limited resources, the generous Anvil Media donation of $1,000 will go a long way in caring for the children and families who call on Candlelighters for support,” said Janet Sams, Executive Director of Candlelighters for Children With Cancer. “It is an honor to be selected as Anvil’s Charity of Choice and we certainly appreciate their help in calling attention to our very important mission.”
