Anvil’s goal was to increase conversions, particularly in the B2B sphere, as we shifted from a largely B2C campaign strategy. The best method to adapt to this shift was to launch a Smart Display ad campaign via Google Ads, which provided a challenge with targeting and aggregating conversion data and extending reach without increasing ad budget.
Anvil adjusted the bid strategy to become more conversion-focused in the B2B sphere to earn more web form fills and phone calls, created a new interest/affinity targeting group to grab users who have similar online behavior to the company’s ideal prospect, and adjusted ad copy to best align with user-intent when viewing the landing page.
