ISG (Information Services Group) is a leading global technology research and advisory firm. The firm specializes in digital transformation services, including automation, cloud and data analytics; sourcing advisory; managed governance and risk services; network carrier services; strategy and operations design; change management; market intelligence and technology research and analysis.
Anvil’s goal in 2021 was to increase ISG overall organic performance. This included driving additional traffic, recording additional page sessions, specifically for new users, and increasing organic goal completions such as leads generated and materials downloaded.
Anvil implemented an ongoing strategy for keyword research. The main point of this was constant optimization of valuable non-branded keywords in multiple languages for the international organization. In addition, Anvil implemented event and article schema, reviewed behavior flow, event tracking, user experience, and continuously optimized page titles and meta descriptions
Gauging the organic performance of the ISG website in 2021 compared to 2020, beyond the highlights to the right, Anvil generated the following results:

- New Users attributed to Organic Search increased by 189%
- Overall Goal Completions attributed to Organic Search increased by 26%
- Average Position improved from 39.9 to 25.7
