Challenge
Grand America Hotels & Resorts had historically managed social media and review management for six hotels in one central location. This resulted in issues due to roadblocks in creating content for specific properties and limited bandwidth to cover the needs of each individual property.
Strategy
Anvil developed and lead a social media and review management training program to enable each property to managed their own social media presence and online reviews. The training consisted of a two hour live webinar which walked through major social platforms, Revinate (a hotel specific review management platform), best practices and daily management practices. Once the training was complete each property was given access to a recording of the training for future reference. Anvil also became an additional layer of support for all properties on an ongoing basis.
Results
- Grand America Hotels & Resorts successfully moved social media and review management out to individual properties
- Content was created by each property on an ongoing basis and reviews were attended to more efficiently
