Yahoo News on Monday added results from blogs to supplement articles from professional news media, reports the Associated Press. A keyword search for online news will now return a list of relevant blog search results, displayed in a box to the right of the results for mainstream news outlets. Users can choose to view only the blog search results – including images posted on Yahoo’s Flickr photo-sharing site – by clicking on that box. Yahoo’s approach is different from the one adopted by rival Google.
