Microsoft’s new search engine may beat Google: Gates

During a speech in Thailand, Microsoft co-founder and chairman, Bill Gates said that Microsoft’s new search engine may rival or even surpass Google, the world’s most popular search tool. Gates told the audience that they were developing products to make the Internet easier to use, and MSN could “do a search that’s as good or better than [Google] does.” Supporting Gates’ claims, a report released last November by Britain’s New Scientist magazine says that Microsoft’s new engine had caught up technically with Google’s.
