It seems Web site owners practicing questionable “SEO” techniques are subsequently being penalized by Google – and Google is emailing them to tell them about it. In a post from Search Engine Forums, a site owner using doorway pages had his site removed from the search engine and then received an email from Google stating what the specific offense was, and then offered a link for inclusion pending the correction of the offending pages.
