To date, search engine results for blog-specific content – particularly in Google’s Blogsearch – has been riddled with spam. Depending upon your search, you may see a few “real” results, accompanied by a far greater number of spam blog posts, generated by automatic blog post generation tools. Finally, Google has recognized this problem and has begun banning any sites that use this software which automatically creates thousands of blog posts. Bloggers, be forewarned and don’t be tempted to use such software. Searchers, rejoice because your blog search results are about to get much cleaner.
