The position involves a two-month trial period designed to determine overall fit within the company. The Senior Web Analyst will report directly to the Vice President.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyzing multiple data sources, aggregating findings, and creating client reports to communicate effectiveness of SEM campaig
- Analyzing log files for Web site activity such as visitor trends, traffic patterns, and conversion funnels
- Analyzing SEM campaign results and presenting findings via written and verbal communication to Account Executives and clients
- Collaborating with Account Executives to optimize ROI of SEM campaigns
The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, economics, finance, marketing, or related discipline
- Experience with web analytics programs such as WebTrends, HitBox, Google Analytics, etc
- Proven analytical skills and comfortable analyzing large quantities of data using Excel
- Ability to recognize and solve data problems and inconsistencies
- General understanding of HTML, however this position is not a Web development role
- Expert in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Advanced Internet research skills and understanding of technology
- Ability to identify and learn new SEM tools
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities effectively in a complex, fast-paced business environment with strict deadlines
- Comfortable working on own and with a team
