Marquis RSS Case Study

Overview
Marqui is a leading provider of search engine optimization (SEO) friendly content management systems (CMS).  Webinars have historically been an effective lead qualification and sales generation tool for Marqui.  To generate attendees, Marqui tapped Anvil to create and manage a paid placement campaign.

Objective
The goal of the campaign was to generate visibility and registrants for the RSS Webinars.

Challenge
Marqui had limited budget and a condensed timeline to reach their attendance goal for the event.

Strategy
Anvil compiled highly targeted, relevant keyword lists for both Yahoo and Google, then created text ads that communicated benefits of attendance and drove interested parties to targeted landing pages.

Results
In one week, Anvil was able to generate 26 Webinar attendees with $300 in media spend  The total cost per registrant through paid search was the lowest of any other marketing channel, including print and email direct response by a wide margin.
