Challenge:
The Grand America Hotel was in need of a strategy to integrate a traditional marketing campaign they were running for a contest with current online marketing efforts. The campaign required working with a 3rd party on behalf of the client in order to ensure consistent branding.
Strategy:
Anvil developed a custom Facebook tab so new and current fans could learn more about the contest and submit entries. Facebook advertising was then used to drive traffic to the tab and gain new fans.
Results:
- 74% Increase in new likes to Facebook page in the first 30 days of the campaign
- 20% contest submission rate for people coming to the site from the Facebook tab
