Facebook Sponsored stories were a new feature and uncharted territory. Because of this, it’s often difficult for businesses to take the plunge and hope for the best. With Anvil Media’s guidance and expertise, Provenance Hotels agreed to launch Facebook sponsored stories.
Strategy
Anvil utilized a combination of Check In, Like, and Post stories though Facebook’s ad platform to serve fresh content to Facebook users who were not already connected with the hotels.
Results
Click-through-rates immediately jumped up 89% with the introduction of sponsored stories in just 1 week. Overall, sponsored stories’ click-through-rates turned out to be 911% higher than traditional Facebook ads. Additionally, Facebook engagement measured by New Likes, is up 1,059% compared to the month before launching sponsored stories. Monthly active users also skyrocketed by 258%.
