Case Study: Conducive Technology
Overview
Conducive Technology is a developer of software applications for travel,
logistics and loyalty industries. Anvil worked with the company executives
previously and was asked to come back once again to help re-launch
their newest business. The new Web presence included two product sites
and one corporate site.
Objective
The client's objective was to achieve top search engine rankings through
search engine optimization (SEO).
Challenge
Beyond the usual challenges of launching a startup (limited budgets
and resources) the relatively new market was busy and competitive.
The air cargo and air freight industry is segmented and confusing,
and therefore difficult to penetrate cost-effectively.
Strategy
Focus on optimizing the body copy and source code rather than using
tricky techniques and technology to gain position in search engines.
Anvil also provided guidance and direction on a link development strategy
that was managed internally by Conducive.
Results
Since the Web sites launched in May of 2003, Anvil has been able to
generate impressive results for Conducive. All three sites were fully
indexed by the search engines one month after launch. Since then,
total search engine visibility has increased an average of 121 percent,
with top 10 rankings increasing an average of 133 percent, across
all three sites.
